The mobile application, Coronavirus UY, was launched almost a year ago by the Uruguayan Ministry of Public Health and the Electronic Government Agency. Throughout 2020 and so far in 2021, the app has been updated to add new functionalities and features. <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The new version of Coronavirus UY has been available since February 26th, and their main new features include the option to access the enabled channels to schedule a date to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and access the digital vaccination certificate.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The service provider must enable the user's cell phone number in the new version of the application, and in this way, access is granted to the different channels of the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), to schedule the appointment for immunization, either through a chatbot on WhatsApp, online process, or phone call.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

After making their vaccination registration, the application will send users notifications and reminders about the dates assigned to receive the vaccine. After receiving the two complete ones, the digital vaccination certificate will be available, which will include the vaccine information, such as the type of vaccine received, the date of administration and the doses received. This certificate will be connected to the National Electronic Health Record (HCEN) and can be consulted on the \u201cMi Historia Cl\u00ednica Digital\u201d site.<\/p>

On the other hand, in order to avoid limiting the scope of the registration and appointment scheduling processes for vaccination, the MSP has also enabled theUruguay se Vacuna<\/a>platform to perform the registration and to check whether the person is eligible to receive the vaccine according to the Vaccination Plan.<\/p>

La aplicaci\u00f3n m\u00f3vil Coronavirus UY, fue lanzada hace casi un a\u00f1o por el Ministerio de Salud P\u00fablica de Uruguay y la Agencia de Gobierno Electr\u00f3nico. A lo largo del 2020 y lo que va de 2021, la aplicaci\u00f3n ha sido actualizada para a\u00f1adir nuevas funcionalidades y caracter\u00edsticas. La nueva versi\u00f3n de Coronavirus UY est\u00e1 disponible desde el 26 de febrero y entre sus principales novedades est\u00e1n las opciones de acceder a los canales habilitados para agendar una fecha para recibir la vacuna contra COVID-19 y acceder al certificado digital de vacunaci\u00f3n. El prestador de servicios debe habilitar el n\u00famero de celular del usuario en la nueva versi\u00f3n de la aplicaci\u00f3n, y de esta forma se otorga el acceso a los distintos canales del Ministerios de Salud P\u00fablica (MSP), para agendar la cita para la inmunizaci\u00f3n, ya sea a trav\u00e9s de un chatbot en WhatsApp, tramite en l\u00ednea, o llamada telef\u00f3nica. Despu\u00e9s de realizar su registro de vacunaci\u00f3n, la aplicaci\u00f3n enviar\u00e1 a los usuarios notificaciones y recordatorios sobre las fechas asignadas para recibir la vacuna.  Tras recibir las dos completas estar\u00e1 disponible el certificado digital de vacunaci\u00f3n, que incluir\u00e1 la informaci\u00f3n de la vacuna, como el tipo de vacuna recibida, la fecha de administraci\u00f3n y las dosis recibidas. Dicho certificado estar\u00e1 conectado con el Historial Cl\u00ednico Electr\u00f3nico Nacional (HCEN) y podr\u00e1 ser consultado en el sitio de \u201cMi Historia Cl\u00ednica Digital\u201d. Por otra parte, para no limitar el alcance de los procesos de registro y agenda de citas para vacunaci\u00f3n, el MSP tambi\u00e9n habilit\u00f3 la plataforma \u201cUruguay se Vacuna\u201d para realizar el registro y para consultar si la persona se encuentra habilitada para recibir la vacuna de acuerdo al Plan de Vacunaci\u00f3n.
