Since the report of the first COVID-19 outbreaks in Asia and Europe, universities and governments made efforts to create open-access tools for real-time consultation of COVID-19 information and data.<\/p>

Google and other philanthropic associations funded the Global.health project, which was developed by Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard University, John Hopkins University, Oxford University, among other institutions.<\/p>

Global.health is an open, centralized data resource, and having data verified before it is integrated into the platform to allow researchers and health officials to accelerate the work of creating more effective strategies to contain infections. All data comes from official government sources, whether local, state or federal.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The platform offers search filters, such as gender, nationality, occupation, country, among others. The results are displayed as a list, and in some cases it is also possible to consult the date of hospitalization of the patients, the locality where they are located and their age, important data for the health authorities to take the necessary steps and actions.<\/p>

Global.health also offers data consultation through maps. It shows a table that counts the number of infections in the last 15 days globally and by country. In addition, it offers a regional analysis map, which shows the areas of each country where there have been more cases of COVID-19 and vice versa.<\/p>

Global.health es una base de datos de acceso libre que permite la consulta de m\u00e1s de 160 millones de puntos de datos sobre COVID-19, como contagios por pa\u00eds, \u00faltimos casos reportados, ciudades o zonas con mayor incidencia entre otros. Desde el reporte de los primeros brotes de COVID-19 en Asia y Europa, universidades y gobiernos realizaron esfuerzos para crear herramientas de acceso libre para la consulta de informaci\u00f3n y datos en tiempo real sobre COVID-19. Google y otras asociaciones filantr\u00f3picas financiaron el proyecto Global.health, que fue desarrollado Boston Children’s Hospital, la Universidad de Harvard, John Hopkins University, la Universidad de Oxford, entre otras instituciones. Global.health es un recurso abierto y centralizado de datos, al contar con datos verificados antes de integrarse a la plataforma permite acelerar el trabajo de investigadores y funcionarios de salud para la creaci\u00f3n de estrategias m\u00e1s efectivas para la contenci\u00f3n de contagios. Todos los datos provienen de fuentes oficiales de gobiernos, ya sean de locales, estatales o federales. La plataforma ofrece filtros de b\u00fasqueda, como g\u00e9nero, nacionalidad, ocupaci\u00f3n, pa\u00eds, entre otros. Los resultados se muestran en forma de lista, adem\u00e1s, tambi\u00e9n en algunos casos es posible consultar la fecha de hospitalizaci\u00f3n de los pacientes, la localidad donde se encuentra y su edad, datos importantes para que las autoridades de salud realicen las gestiones y acciones necesarias. Global.health tambi\u00e9n ofrece la consulta de los datos a trav\u00e9s de mapas. El cual muestra una tabla que contabiliza la cantidad de contagio los \u00faltimos 15 d\u00edas a nivel global y por pa\u00eds.
