Since November, the Health Services of Aconcagua, Chile, have developed in conjunction with the digital Hospital a new model of care based on digital health.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In Chile, the Aconcagua Health Service, the San Camilo hospital, the Ministerial Cabinet and the Digital Hospital, have formed a roundtable for the development of a new care model based on Digital Health techniques, for the people of the region of Valparaiso and San Felipe Aconcagua. The purpose of this intervention is to reduce waiting lists within the Integrated Health Service Networks.<\/p>

Enrique Paris, Minister of Health, attended the launching conference of the platform virtually and commented the following: \"This is a very important advance, since in this way we can reduce the waiting list caused by the pandemic and provide a quality service to many families whose care was delayed due to the coronavirus. With this type of initiative, we are bringing health care to the homes and thus they are not exposed to the virus when they have to leave their homes\".<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The development of the project involved working closely with high complexity hospitals in the health network of Aconcagua, and subsequently identifying the gaps in specialists and technology, as well as defining the training processes and access to imaging procedures.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Additionally, teleconsultation care has been implemented, thanks to the specialists of the digital hospital. Currently they have provided services in specialties of diabetes, cardiology, adult neurology, child neurology, child diabetology, otolaryngology, child surgery and hematology. With this, they seek to implement digital strategies at all levels and modalities of care, either remotely, at home or in primary healthcare establishments. This is part of the Salud Digital en Tu Barrio strategy.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Desde noviembre los servicios de Salud de Aconcagua, Chile, han desarrollado en conjunto con el Hospital digital un nuevo modelo de atenci\u00f3n basado en salud digital. En Chile, el Servicio de Salud de Aconcagua, el hospital San Camilo, el Gabinete Ministerial y el Hospital Digital, han formado una mesa de trabajo para el desarrollo de un nuevo modelo de atenci\u00f3n basado en t\u00e9cnicas de Salud Digital, para la poblaci\u00f3n de la regi\u00f3n de Valpara\u00edso y San Felipe Aconcagua. El prop\u00f3sito de esta intervenci\u00f3n es reducir las listas de espera dentro de las Redes Integradas de Servicio de Salud. Enrique Paris, ministro de salud, acudi\u00f3 virtualmente a la conferencia de lanzamiento de la plataforma y coment\u00f3 lo siguiente: \u201cEs un avance muy importante, ya que de esta forma podemos disminuir la lista de espera causada por la pandemia y entregar un servicio de calidad a muchas familias que vieron postergada su atenci\u00f3n debido al coronavirus. Con este tipo de iniciativas estamos llevando la salud a los hogares y as\u00ed no se exponen al virus al tener que salir de sus casas\u201d. El desarrollo del proyecto consider\u00f3 el trabajo en conjunto con hospitales de alta complejidad de la red de salud de Aconcagua, y posteriormente identificar las brechas de especialistas y de tecnolog\u00eda, as\u00ed como definir los procesos de capacitaci\u00f3n y el acceso a procedimientos imagenol\u00f3gicos. Adicionalmente, se ha implementado la atenci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de teleconsultas, gracias a los especialistas del hospital digital. Actualmente han brindado servicios en especialidades de diabetes, cardiolog\u00eda, neurolog\u00eda adulta, neurolog\u00eda infantil, diabetolog\u00eda infantil, otorrinolaringolog\u00eda, cirug\u00eda infantil y hematolog\u00eda. Con esto buscan implementar las estrategias digitales en todos los niveles y modalidades de atenci\u00f3n, ya sea v\u00eda remota, en domicilio o en establecimientos de Atenci\u00f3n Primaria de Salud. Esto forma parte de la estrategia Salud Digital en Tu Barrio.
