The Telehealth unit of the University of Caldas has served more than 200 thousand people free of charge during the COVID-19 pandemic, offering remote care services such as tele psychology, guidance, and monitoring to suspected cases of this disease.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Director of Telesalud, Esteban Granada Aguirre, recognized the work done and collaboration during this health situation: \"It is important to highlight the positive figures that benefit the department of Caldas, today we achieve a historical fact, we have cared for more than 200,000 patients throughout the department, thanks to the agreement that was activated since the beginning of the pandemic with the Governorate of Caldas , Territorial Directorate of Health of Caldas and University of Caldas\".<\/p>

Since May, Telesalud had already served more than 50,000 people in the region through the portal specializing in coronavirus: https:\/\/coronavirustelesalud.com\/<\/a>It also provides up-to-date information on social distancing measures in Caldas.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Among the attentions offered by Telesalud, are virtual consultations with specialists for the monitoring of symptoms or discomforts. These attentions are made either through digital platforms, through video calls or chat, and also offer telephone service. However, the strategy plans various channels that also include psychological or psychiatric consultations online for free through the Te cuido, psic\u00f3logos contigo (I take care of you program, psychologists with you).<\/em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>

Another axis of this strategy is the weekly online program, which they broadcast every Thursday at 5 pm (Caldas time), in which they address issues of public health interests and general concerns related to COVID-19. On the other hand, Te cuido,<\/em>which promotes dialogue with health professionals, on health issues, education, nutrition, I enter other topics. La unidad de Telesalud de la Universidad de Caldas ha atendido gratuitamente a m\u00e1s de 200 mil personas durante la pandemia de COVID-19, ofreciendo servicios de atenci\u00f3n a distancia como tele psicolog\u00eda, orientaci\u00f3n, y monitoreo a casos sospechosos de esta enfermedad. La Universidad de Caldas a trav\u00e9s de Telesalud, y en colaboraci\u00f3n con la Direcci\u00f3n Territorial de Salud de Caldas y el Gobierno de Caldas, han logrado alcanzar las 200 mil personas beneficiadas a trav\u00e9s de su estrategia de atenci\u00f3n remota durante la pandemia de COVID-19. El Director de Telesalud, Esteban Granada Aguirre, reconoci\u00f3 el trabajo realizado y la colaboraci\u00f3n durante esta situaci\u00f3n sanitaria: \u201ces importante resaltar las cifras positivas que benefician el departamento de Caldas, hoy logramos un dato hist\u00f3rico, hemos atendido a m\u00e1s de 200.000 pacientes en todo el departamento, gracias al convenio que se activ\u00f3 desde el inicio de la pandemia con la Gobernaci\u00f3n de Caldas, Direcci\u00f3n Territorial de Salud de Caldas y Universidad de Caldas\u201d. Desde mayo, Telesalud, ya hab\u00eda atendido a m\u00e1s de 50 mil personas de la regi\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s del portal especializado en coronavirus: https:\/\/coronavirustelesalud.com\/. Que adem\u00e1s brinda informaci\u00f3n actualizada sobre las cifras y medidas de distanciamiento social en Caldas. Entre las atenciones que ofrece Telesalud, destacan las consultas virtuales con especialistas para el monitoreo de s\u00edntomas o malestares. Estas atenciones, se realizan ya sea a trav\u00e9s de plataformas digitales, por medio de video llamadas o chat, adem\u00e1s tambi\u00e9n ofrecen atenci\u00f3n v\u00eda telef\u00f3nica. Sin embargo, la estrategia planea diversos canales que incluyen tambi\u00e9n consultas psicol\u00f3gicas o psiqui\u00e1tricas en l\u00ednea de manera gratuita a trav\u00e9s de programa Te cuido, psic\u00f3logos contigo.  Otro de los ejes de esta estrategia, es el programa online semanal, que transmiten todos los jueves a las 5 pm (hora de Caldas), en el cual abordan temas de intereses sobre la salud p\u00fablica e inquietudes generales relacionadas a COVID-19. Por otra parte, esta Te cuido orient\u00e1ndote, que promueve el dialogo con profesionales de la salud, sobre temas de salud, educaci\u00f3n, nutrici\u00f3n, entro otros temas. De esta forma m\u00e1s de 200 profesionales se encuentran orientando todos los d\u00edas a los usuarios de esta plataforma.
