The process of digitizing services at the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), continues. Through Mi Pension Digital IMSS, created in August 2019, more than 300,000 procedures have been attended through digital tools. <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

My Digital Pension, part of the strategy of digitization of IMSS services, this program was created in August 2019, and to date more than 365 thousand procedures have been carried out through this digital medium. My Digital Pension, provides greater accessibility to the rights-holders to initiate the withdrawal procedures through the internet.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Jos\u00e9 M\u00e9ndez Santa Cruz, holder of the Economic Benefits and Health at Work unit, IMSS, explained: My Digital Pension integrates more validation connections automatically within the institutional systems themselves as with external institutions on a single platform.\"<\/p>

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic this tool has increased its use among the population 60 years and older. Since most of the procedure can be done online, until the final step that requires a single visit directly in some IMSS sub-delegation. \"The user must go to the Economic Benefits window of his Family Medicine Unit (UMF) or sub-delegation to submit the documentation and sign the pension application. This way you'll get your resolution and know the payment date,\" Santa Cruz explained.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In addition to this type of service, IMSS has integrated several services into its IMSS Digital platform. Santa Cruz, explained that IMSS's digitalization strategy through My Digital Pension seeks to include other pension services by 2021, including accident or illness pensions, for widowhood, orphanhood and ascendants.<\/p>

El proceso de digitalizaci\u00f3n de servicios en el Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS), continua. A trav\u00e9s de Mi Pensi\u00f3n Digital IMSS, creada en agosto de 2019, han atendido m\u00e1s de 300 mil tramites a trav\u00e9s de herramientas digitales. Mi Pensi\u00f3n Digital, es parte de la estrategia de digitalizaci\u00f3n de los servicios del IMSS, este programa fue creado en agosto de 2019, y hasta la fecha se han realizado m\u00e1s de 365 mil tramites a trav\u00e9s de este medio digital. Mi Pensi\u00f3n Digital, brinda mayor accesibilidad a los derechohabientes a iniciar los tr\u00e1mites de retiro a trav\u00e9s de internet. Jos\u00e9 M\u00e9ndez Santa Cruz, titular de la unidad de Prestaciones Econ\u00f3micas y Salud en el Trabajo, del IMSS, explic\u00f3: Mi Pensi\u00f3n Digital integra en una sola plataforma m\u00e1s conexiones de validaci\u00f3n de manera autom\u00e1tica dentro de los propios sistemas institucionales como con instituciones externas”. Debido a la pandemia por COVID-19 esta herramienta ha aumentado su uso entre la poblaci\u00f3n de 60 a\u00f1os en adelante. Ya que la mayor parte del tr\u00e1mite se puede realizar por internet, hasta el paso final que requiere una sola visita directamente en alguna subdelegaci\u00f3n del IMSS. \u201cEl usuario deber\u00e1 acudir a la ventanilla de Prestaciones Econ\u00f3micas de su Unidad de Medicina Familiar (UMF) o subdelegaci\u00f3n a entregar la documentaci\u00f3n y firmar la solicitud de pensi\u00f3n. De esta forma obtendr\u00e1 su resoluci\u00f3n y conocer\u00e1 la fecha de pago\u201d, explic\u00f3 Santa Cruz. Adem\u00e1s de este tipo de servicios el IMSS ha integrado varios servicios a su plataforma IMSS Digital. Santa Cruz, explic\u00f3 que la estrategia de digitalizaci\u00f3n del IMSS a trav\u00e9s de Mi Pensi\u00f3n Digital, busca incluir otros servicios de pensi\u00f3n para 2021, que incluyen pensiones por accidentes o enfermedad, para viudez, orfandad y ascendientes.
