The Valdivia Health Service (SSV) and the Universidad Austral de Chile (UACh) agreed to a collaboration to license the use of the telemedicine training platform.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The agreement was communicated by the SVV and its director Victor Hugo Jaramillo, this agreement includes and regulates the use of the Telemedicine Training Platform developed by the Virtual Practice module of the Institute of Biochemistry and Microbiology (BIMI) of the UACh.<\/p>

This collaboration has been taking place since 2014, when BIMI authorized SVV to use its module that was used to develop the Telemedicine Training Platform that was developed by BIMI researchers Ana Mar\u00eda Von Chrismar, Dr. Alejandro Calude and Gustavo Delgado. This platform was modified over time and is currently used for training professionals in distance clinical processes. Through the agreement, BIMI delivers the administration of the platform to the SSV, so that public authorities can improve and modify the system.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Von Chrismar highlighted the collaboration and explained that the agreement manages to formalize a collaboration for the implementation of virtual practices for biochemistry and that it will also \u201cstrengthen the development of better-quality units with better coverage in order to strengthen the training of health officials and students. On the other hand, the possibility of studying the formative impact of virtual activities is a challenge that we will have to address together both institutions.\u201d<\/p>

Jaramillo expressed the following about the context in which this Convention is announced: \u201cIt is given in a particular year when the covid-19 pandemic has required us to innovate, accelerate processes of change and introduce new strategies; and in this sense, having this platform, but also being able to modify and improve it through the daily work of our establishments, will allow us to increase the resolution and support the training of our officials.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Furthermore, Dr. Carlos Fierro, who serves as head of the Telemedicine Unit of the SSV, explained the importance of \u201cthe enhancing effect of this Convention, which will allow to amplify the capacity for development and innovation with respect to the use and strengthening of the Training Platform, which has been a key part in the development of the SSV's medical tele strategy. Thanks to this, a thousand 53 training activities have been carried out to date and 442 courses have been certified.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

El Servicio de Salud Valdivia (SSV) y la Universidad Austral de Chile (UACh) acordaron una colaboraci\u00f3n para otorgar licencia en el uso de la plataforma de capacitaci\u00f3n en telemedicina. El acuerdo fue comunicado por el SVV y su director V\u00edctor Hugo Jaramillo, este convenio incluye y regula el uso de la Plataforma de Capacitaci\u00f3n en Telemedicina desarrollada por el m\u00f3dulo de Pr\u00e1cticos Virtuales del Instituto de Bioqu\u00edmica y Microbiolog\u00eda (BIMI) de la UACh. Esta colaboraci\u00f3n se viene gestando desde el 2014, cuando el BIMI autoriz\u00f3 a SVV a utilizar su m\u00f3dulo que fue utilizado para desarrollar la Plataforma de Capacitaci\u00f3n en Telemedicina que fue desarrollada por los investigadores del BIMI, Ana Mar\u00eda Von Chrismar, el Dr. Alejandro Calude y Gustavo Delgado.  Esta plataforma fue modificada a lo largo del tiempo y es utilizada actualmente para la capacitaci\u00f3n de profesionales en procesos cl\u00ednicos a distancia. A trav\u00e9s del convenio el BIMI entrega la administraci\u00f3n de la plataforma al SSV, para que las autoridades p\u00fablicas puedan mejorar y modificar el sistema. Von Chrismar, destac\u00f3 la colaboraci\u00f3n y explic\u00f3 que el convenio logra formalizar una colaboraci\u00f3n para la implementaci\u00f3n de los Pr\u00e1cticos Virtuales para bioqu\u00edmica y que adem\u00e1s \u201cfortalecer\u00e1 el desarrollo de unidades de mejor calidad y con una mejor cobertura para poder fortalecer la formaci\u00f3n de los funcionarios y estudiantes del \u00e1mbito de la salud. Por otro lado, la posibilidad de estudiar el impacto formativo de las actividades virtuales es un desaf\u00edo que deberemos abordar en conjunto ambas instituciones\u201d. Jaramillo expres\u00f3 lo siguiente sobre el contexto en el que se anuncia este convenio: “se da en un a\u00f1o particular en que la pandemia por Covid-19 nos ha exigido innovar, acelerar procesos de cambio e introducir nuevas estrategias; y en ese sentido, contar con esta plataforma, pero adem\u00e1s poder modificarla y mejorarla a trav\u00e9s del trabajo diario de nuestros establecimientos, nos permitir\u00e1 aumentar la resolutividad y apoyar la formaci\u00f3n de nuestros funcionarios\u201d. Por otra parte, el Dr. Carlos Fierro, quien se desempe\u00f1a como jefe de la Unidad de Telemedicina del SSV, explic\u00f3 la importancia de \u201cel efecto potenciador del presente convenio, que permitir\u00e1 amplificar la capacidad de desarrollo e innovaci\u00f3n respecto del uso y fortalecimiento de la Plataforma de Capacitaci\u00f3n, que ha sido una pieza clave en el desarrollo de la estrategia tele m\u00e9dica del SSV. Gracias a esto, a la fecha se han realizado mil 53 actividades de capacitaci\u00f3n y se han certificado 442 cursos\u201d.
