The AI used in this innovation provides real-time guidance, acting as a co-pilot, in this way emulates the task of a professional sonographer.<\/li><li>Data mining in medical records: Used for the collection, storage, standardization and monitoring of medical records of patients. In this way AI interprets the records and is able to analyze diagnostic images, it has been used in conditions related to vision loss.<\/li><li>Precision medicine: Through tumor samples, algorithms can identify patterns in patients' genetic data, which could be linked to medical conditions. In this way, patients can receive early diagnosis and treatment.<\/li><li>Designing treatment plans: through AI it is possible to analyze structured and unstructured medical registration data, for decision-making on patient treatment. This type of software combines data from patient diagnostic and research articles.<\/li><li>Drug creation: Through AI, pharmaceutical companies manage to develop drugs faster and reduce costs. It can also be used to understand the effectiveness of drugs in the face of emerging diseases.<\/li><li>Triage Tools: There are studies that have validated algorithms using deep learning, capable of accurately predicting the need for critical patient care. It can even be applied in cases of lower risk, through chatbots that rule out the decrease in emergencies.<\/li><\/ul><p>Finally, the guide closes with the question \u201cHow can an AI-based medical technology become part of an everyday practice?\u201d, with this issue the authors state the following \u201cMedical professionals tend to make decisions using data that were obtained with technologies they either understand or understand the basics enough to trust it. No todos los algoritmos est\u00e1n basados en machine learning, los M\u00e9todos utilizados en cualquier estudio describen de d\u00f3nde obtuvieron sus datos y que tipo de datos son. Diagn\u00f3stico impulsado por IA: La FDA aprob\u00f3 este a\u00f1o, un software que apoya a los medios en la realizaci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes de ultrasonido cardiaco. La IA utilizada en esta innovaci\u00f3n proporciona orientaci\u00f3n en tiempo real, actuando como un copiloto, de esta forma emula la tarea de un ecografista profesional. Miner\u00eda de datos en expedientes m\u00e9dicos: Utilizado para la recopilaci\u00f3n, el almacenamiento, la normalizaci\u00f3n y el seguimiento de los registros m\u00e9dicos de pacientes. De esta forma la IA interpreta los expedientes y es capaz de analizar las im\u00e1genes de diagn\u00f3sticos, se ha utilizado en padecimientos relacionados a la p\u00e9rdida de visi\u00f3n. Medicina de precisi\u00f3n: A trav\u00e9s de muestras de tumores, los algoritmos pueden identificar patrones en los datos gen\u00e9ticos de pacientes, que podr\u00edan estar vinculados a afecciones m\u00e9dicas. De esta forma, los pacientes pueden recibir un diagn\u00f3stico y tratamiento temprano. Dise\u00f1ar planes de tratamiento: a trav\u00e9s de IA es posible analizar datos estructurados y no estructurados de registro m\u00e9dicos, para la toma de decisiones sobre el tratamiento del paciente. Este tipo de software combina datos de art\u00edculos de investigaci\u00f3n y de diagn\u00f3stico del paciente. Creaci\u00f3n de f\u00e1rmacos: A trav\u00e9s de la IA, las compa\u00f1\u00edas farmac\u00e9uticas logran desarrollar medicamentos m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos y reduciendo gastos. Tambi\u00e9n puede utilizarse para conocer la efectividad de f\u00e1rmacos ante enfermedades emergentes. Herramientas de triaje: Existen estudios que han validado algoritmos utilizando aprendizaje profundo, capaces de predecir con precisi\u00f3n la necesidad de atenci\u00f3n critica de los pacientes. Incluso es posible aplicarlo en casos de menor riesgo, a trav\u00e9s de chatbots que descarten la disminuci\u00f3n de urgencias. Finalmente, la gu\u00eda cierra con la pregunta \u201c\u00bfC\u00f3mo puede una tecnolog\u00eda m\u00e9dica basada en IA convertirse en parte de la pr\u00e1ctica diaria?\u201d, ante esta cuesti\u00f3n los autores indican lo siguiente \u201clos profesionales m\u00e9dicos tienden a tomar decisiones utilizando datos que se obtuvieron con tecnolog\u00edas que comprenden o comprenden los conceptos b\u00e1sicos lo suficiente como para confiar en ellos, sin&nbsp; embargo en el caso de la IA, podr\u00eda no ser posible\u201d, Ese es uno de los desaf\u00edos, que conforme pase el tiempo podr\u00e1 resolverse al existir mayor evidencia sobre el uso de la IA y sus diferentes aplicaciones en salud.
