El estudio busca la identificaci\u00f3n de caracter\u00edsticas clave de pacientes con infecci\u00f3n por SARS-CoV-2, como los s\u00edntomas y su duraci\u00f3n y as\u00ed desarrollar un modelo predictivo que ayude a la f\u00e1cil identificaci\u00f3n de pacientes de forma masiva. A trav\u00e9s de un modelo predictivo es posible determinar a los casos sospechosos para realizarles pruebas de COVID-19 antes de que puedan comenzar a contagiar. La investigaci\u00f3n dirigida por la UAA ser\u00e1 posible gracias al financiamiento del Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda (Conacyt) a trav\u00e9s del Programa PROCIENCIA con apoyo del Fondo para la Excelencia de la Educaci\u00f3n y la Investigaci\u00f3n (FEEI). La investigaci\u00f3n promueve la utilizaci\u00f3n de estrategias similares para otras enfermedades infecciosas, especialmente aquellas transmitidas por vectores, como dengue, chikungunya o Zika.
