The Government of Argentina communicated to foreign and migratory relations authorities of various countries of the world about its digital vaccination card "Mi Argentina", in search of its accreditation.

Authorities of the Argentine government announced since September 6 that the digital vaccination card of My Argentina is the official document that certifies the vaccination against COVID-19 of Argentine citizens when they go on a trip.

This tool was developed by the Secretariat for Public Innovation of the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers and was presented in July. Then it passed the filters of the Ministry of Health of the Nation, the Directorate of Migrations; the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, for its implementation at the national level as a document with official validity.

This digital document includes a QR code, which sends whoever scans it to the national health portfolio site where the information on vaccination against COVID-19 is stored. The data it shows are the name of the vaccine, batch, dose and place of application. In addition, it is also available in English.

“The implementation of the international digital credential was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship through a circular sent to Argentine consulates and embassies abroad, which will then communicate it to chancelleries, migration directorates and border health authorities. from all over the world to begin the approval process of this credential in the different countries”, explained the Government of Argentina.

My Argentina was born as a profile for the management of procedures, shift agenda and more. And according to information from the Argentine government, it has more than 10 million users.
