In view of the health emergency caused by COVID-19, Carlos Slim Foundation has undertaken actions to support the population.

Vaccine against COVID

A collaboration was signed between the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, the biotechnology companies mAbXience and Liomont, with the participation of Latin American governments, specifically Mexico and Argentina, to contribute to the production and distribution, without profit, of this vaccine against COVID-19 in the region.
